FAQ
Questions we expect
How do I calculate BMI?
Divide weight in kilograms by height in metres squared, or use the BMI calculator.
What BMI is considered healthy for adults?
Many public-health charts use 18.5–24.9. Individual context still matters — see limitations.
Does BMI work if I lift weights?
Often poorly. Muscle raises the index. Pair it with waist and performance, not the number alone.
How many calories should I eat?
Start with the calorie calculator. It estimates need; it does not assign a crash target.
What foods are anti-inflammatory?
Leafy greens, extra-virgin olive oil, oily fish, berries, nuts, legumes. Details in the foods article.
Do you publish calorie-aware recipes?
Yes. Start with the meal framework and weeknight dinners. They are templates, not a crash diet.
I have knee or lower-back stiffness. Where do I start?
Read gentle knee mobility or lower-back stiffness at home. Stop if pain shoots, swells, or follows a fall — see a clinician first.
Do you store my measurements?
No. See privacy.
Who is behind the site?
About and hello@longevity-health.org.
Are the calculators medical devices?
No. They are educational screening tools. See the medical disclaimer.
